Bad Will Happen, What Are Your Going To Do?

breathe

Just Breathe.

The reason to get beta testers is to make sure everything is working, not perfectly, but as close to perfect as possible.

My eBay course beta testers were in love with the user interface, the membership portal worked great, however, 3 of the 5 payments did not go through, not only it’s technical issues with the payment gateway, it was also a matter of approval, that payment gateway customer service gave me hell and wasted 2 hours of my time on the phone with them. They said it would be a couple of days to resolve then this may happen again!

I hung up the phone, and just took a long breath.

I then decided to use another payment gateway, it will take 4 to 6 days to setup from beginning to end. This is why I am pushing the launch another 2 weeks, the new official launch date is November 10th.

I am OK with that, I made my peace with it, I learned a while ago that bad things will happen in business, no matter how perfect it is, you just have to breathe and pause for a second, and find a workaround or a solution for it. Everything is going to be fine.

And The eBay Course Beta Testers Are In!

beta-testing

Super excited about my eBay course launch, I first announced it on this blog and on Periscope yesterday and the response was great.

I opened the doors to beta testers (only 5 testers) during my Scope yesterday and within an hour I got 5  people in, I did charge $200 plus the work and feedback they will help me with. By 9pm last night, and only 6 hours after I received another 9 requests, unfortunately I am only allowing 5 beta testers (which I think is sufficient enough), so the extra people would be joining the full program once I launch on Tuesday.

We already started working on testing the interface, and so far (thankfully) no issues, I even got 2 great comments on how awesome it looks.

Tomorrow, we will test the private group.

I’ll keep you updated throughout the launch about everything. And still supper excited.

My Biggest eBay Project Since 2008

In February 2008 I started working on my eBay course that was delivered online by video, it took me about 6 months to launch it back then, we had so much success that we got an offer to sell the entire site with all materials for a lot of cash, that’s when we sold WAHOL.com (stands for Work At Home OnLine). I had a blast creating the course and enjoyed answering questions, the best thing about it was not the amount of money I made, but it was the success of my previous members, and I only sold it after everyone got what they wanted from it. Only 2 years later the company that bought it was almost out of business due to some none related bad investments, I offered to buy the domain back and they agreed.

Ever since I sold it, I had extra time to work on my other ventures, affiliate marketing was a big thing and I was making a decent income with very minimal work, as well as continuing teaching my eBay classes and selling of course.

I have been working with my team on a new eBay course all build from scratch, sharing everything I learned throughout the years. My past clients will tell you I have always over delivered information (good useful info that is), and I can tell you that I really get a lot of joy of seeing results, in fact, I tell everyone how proud I am of their progress.

Today, I am launching my course!

Though everything is completely different from what it was 8 years ago, I made sure I include everything I know that will either start you a business from scratch or expand your business, whether you already sell on eBay or not, this course is for everyone.

Throughout the next 2 weeks, I will share more details about it, but I can tell you now it is completely worth it.

The official cart open date is Tuesday October 27th, and it will close down on Sunday November 1st.

I have a few tiers launching this course, including beta testers, email subscribers, affiliates and JV’s, and then we have a huge ad campaign including online, newspapers and possibly TV spots. If you want to keep up to date, you can do 1 of 2 things:

  1. You can join my periscope if you download the app and follow 1LX. (Psssst… I will be scoping today at 3pm EST).
  2. Sign up for the mail list on the right side of this article.

I will have a few short classes that will be extremely useful for free during the 2 weeks launch, the 2 methods above are the only 2 ways to get the free classes notifications.

I can not tell how truly excited I am about this, it’s going to be awesome 🙂

Never Give Up

nevergiveup

With all the good things that happened to me in the past few years whether it was personal or in business, many of my new friends have absolutely no idea that I hit rock bottom at one point in the last few years. And I mean fucking zero.

I had no job for a long whole, on my own, no family, very few friends stood by me and helped as much as they could, and I am forever thankful for them, but I hit a point where I had no rent money, no food money, was late on bills to the point that I had no heat or hot water at some point, I still remember getting brain freeze from the shower, I even asked the neighbors for an electricity extension. Bank froze all my money, and I was in debt to friends.

However, I NEVER GAVE UP. I know it will be a long road to get back on my feet. And it was, and without a lot of boring details, I found a job on craigslist, revived my eCommerce skills, blogged and did affiliate marketing, moved around 5 apartments, and so on, I did what it took as long as it was legal or legit to become independent again.

It worked. although it took 3 years, it really worked, I learned a lot from it, but my number one lesson is not to give up.

This post is not to brag of what I did or how I did it, this was just to open up and give you this priceless advice.

So, that’s what I will leave you with. Never Give Up. All will be well.

LogMeIn just acquired LastPass for $110 Millions

lastpass-logmein

LastPass is awesome.

And according to an email fro them this morning and TechCrunch, The remote desktop software giant LogMeIn just acquired lastpass this morning for $110 Millions.

Congrats to the team at lastpass and LogMeIn, security is an important subject to me and pretty much any other person on the web.

Looking forward to all the new features from both companies.

The One Reason I use LastPass

LastPass

I’ve been meaning to write about lastpass for years.

My passwords got out of hands a few years ago, I needed a good password management system, I looked everywhere.

All password management software had almost the same options, generate secure passwords, sync it with any device, form auto fill, high encryption, save it all in the clouds… Wait, what?!

Why would I ever save all my passwords and sensitive information on any cloud based service? That’s a big NO NO for me.

Except that lastpass does all the above PLUS they don’t save your passwords or logins in the cloud, your highly encrypted file is downloaded and de-crypted in each device that you use, in fact, if you forget your master password, it’s extremely hard even for them to get you back in. So, don’t forget your freakin master password.

Not to mention a couple more great features: Secure notes which is like evernote but encrypted and saved within your account, and their amazing security check which keeps your logins fresh and up to date with security.

Lastpass is really awesome and it works with anything, really, even with my firefox for android! And it’s completely FREE, or for mobile devices it’s only $12 per year!! That’s 3.2 cents a day! How much do you spend on your coffee per day?!

And for me, if you use my link to lastpass I get 1 free month of premium and then you can share your link and get free month as well.

What’s the plan?

blueprint - 1

Now that I am back and committed to blogging again, you may ask, what’s your plan?

It’s easy:

  1. At least 1 blog post every weekday.
  2. At least 50% of my posts will be useful information.
  3. I know I need to change the design… ASAP!
  4. I know I need to change some back-end settings… ASAP!
  5. Promote my other services: 25%
  6. Talk about my personal life: 25%
  7. Stay calm and drink tea!

I’m also thinking about creating a brand new blog to talk about my personal life as this blog was a created for business. What do you think? Comment below.

What have been up to? (The personal stuff)

wedding-0018

Yesterday you found out about what I did for work in the past 8 years.

Here is what I did in my personal life within the last 8 years:

1. Got married to Sharon @Sbrindy and yes we streamed the video live and had a twitter feed with our hashtag #AWEDS streaming on a live screen. Go here if you want photos or if you have time watch the videos!

And yes, TODAY IS OUR 3 YEARS WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!

2. Went to 5 concerts within NY and NJ, the best was the ORION festival by Metallica and 22 other bands in an old air field in Atlantic city for 2 long awesome days.

3. Rode almost 8000 miles on my new bike (I tracked it with endomond). And hiked a few times. Look at my instagram for my activities (You may have to scroll down a lot).

Half way done with this #bike #ride total 40 #miled

4. Got the Google Glass and enjoyed it for over 2 years, then made my money back on it when an Australian friend got it.

5. Got involved in a ton of awesome events and activities with Sharon all over New York City.

6. Enjoyed amazing dishes from many restaurants in NYC.

And that’s all I can think of for now.

Now I’m going to celebrate my 3rd wedding anniversary.

What have I been up to? (The professional stuff)

ebaybitcoin

I’m a big boy, so I will admit it… I have not blogged in 8 years!

My affiliate links on this blog are half broken and the income died slowly from the working affiliate links.

I don’t believe in the 9to5 bullshit.

In the past 8 years I changed my focus to a higher income than affiliate marketing, consulting.

I became a Certified eCommerce consultant, focused on eBay and Paypal. I have designed a few courses and action plans for many individuals, small businesses, and mid-sized businesses.

I have put my entire 19+ years of online selling and marketing into my courses and teachings. And I enjoyed teaching it.

My second focus was is still in cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin is the most popular one, however, I have built a triple edge business around it, whether it’s mining locally, in the cloud, trading locally, online, or educating businesses who’s interested.

I have also built (well, not 100% done) 3 other businesses, call them startups if you like, all with my own capital.

That’s all for now. This was a catch up kind of post. I’ll fill you in tomorrow about my personal life in the past 8 years.

P.S. This is the first official time I ever reveal my  bitcoin and cryptocurrency business online.
