What have been up to? (The personal stuff)

wedding-0018

Yesterday you found out about what I did for work in the past 8 years.

Here is what I did in my personal life within the last 8 years:

1. Got married to Sharon @Sbrindy and yes we streamed the video live and had a twitter feed with our hashtag #AWEDS streaming on a live screen. Go here if you want photos or if you have time watch the videos!

And yes, TODAY IS OUR 3 YEARS WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!

2. Went to 5 concerts within NY and NJ, the best was the ORION festival by Metallica and 22 other bands in an old air field in Atlantic city for 2 long awesome days.

3. Rode almost 8000 miles on my new bike (I tracked it with endomond). And hiked a few times. Look at my instagram for my activities (You may have to scroll down a lot).

Half way done with this #bike #ride total 40 #miled

4. Got the Google Glass and enjoyed it for over 2 years, then made my money back on it when an Australian friend got it.

5. Got involved in a ton of awesome events and activities with Sharon all over New York City.

6. Enjoyed amazing dishes from many restaurants in NYC.

And that’s all I can think of for now.

Now I’m going to celebrate my 3rd wedding anniversary.

Want to teach eBay and make money?

This a quick post with a video (Below) to explain to some of you one of the things I do, which is being an eBay Education Specialist:

The way it started with me was when eBay had something called the eBay University (Discontinued!) and I went there to learn how to expand my eBay business (Second largest ebook seller on eBay), long story short, I decided that I already covered every aspect of eBay, even more than what they tought at their classes. Then a couple of friends asked me to teach them how to start a business on eBay and the education specialist program started at the same time so I decided to join.

Brenda (an eBay Education Specialist) will explain what the program is all about in the video below, you can also click here for an example course that I personally teach or you can see me as the futured speaker for a very special (secret) day which normaly falls a day before eBay live.

Here is the video with Brenda:

And here is the video where I was the speaker at the event:

Yahoo! Live goes “Live”: A video service

Yahoo uncovers an experimental live video product last night.

A live streaming video service and was testing it with Yahoo! employees. The service (Yahoo! Live) enables anyone with a Web camera to create their own live video stream (similar to the competing sites: BlogTV, Mogulus, UStream.tv and Justin.tv) and broadcast, lifecast or webcast till their hearts are content.

The new service will allow anyone to text message in a chat box anybody who is streaming live, and of course you can embed videos from around the web.

It gets even better, Yahoo has also created an API for developers and has made a preview of the API and its embeddable components, and made a sample app and tutorial available as well.

Visit: http://live.yahoo.com or get the updates from:  Yliveblog

Only problem so far is there is no way to see your past recordings, which would make the service useless for creating an online show, like so many have done on uStream.

I am sure that Yahoo will develop such thing in the near future. I also got some errors when using the site however, over all it looks great and it’s optimized for fast loading.
