Great news: Twitter on TV along with the debate tonight!

Follow me on Twitter!

I just got the newsletter from Biz Stone (Twitter founder) and I am passing the great news on to you:

I have already written about the makeover here.
I also wrote about what Biz called the election fever on Twitter here.
Tonight there is a debate between Palin and Biden and here is what Biz said:

Tonight we expect the most activity Twitter has ever seen as
vice presidential hopefuls Sarah Palin and Joe Biden debate live
from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. The folks at
Current TV are making history by broadcasting Twitter updates on
live television during this debate. Will you see your updates on
television? Be sure to tune in or watch the streaming version of
Current TV’s “Hack The Debate II” at http://current.com/debate

This could not be any better in terms of timing. Aside from that I will watch for my tweets tonight on TV, I think that this is the perfect opportunity to reveal just a bit more about the Online school that I announced last night, yes, there will be another big part and multi-sessions on mastering the art of Twitter and other micro-blogging/status updating services.

Of course you can start following me on Twitter here or by clicking on the Twitter logo on the top of this article, and I hope you will be watching for my tweets on TV tonight and feel the POWER of TWITTER 🙂

Update: I have to mention that the Twitter live updates will be available on Current TV channel Online at the link above or by checking your Cable/Satellite listings here.

Bankaholic.com sells for $15 Million!

The incredibly famous blogger (& one of my three blogging heroes) Darren Rowse of ProBlogger wrote an article today about this one blog run by one man, Bankaholic.com is a WordPress blog run by John Wu, Darren said that he received emails reporting that Mr. Wu blog was sold for up to a nice $15 million to PaidContent.org The deal is to pay $12.4 million upfront and another $2.5 mill over the next 12 months and Mr. Wu will remaiun blogging on the site.
I think it’s a very fair (& a bit higher than normal) price for just one blog, but like Darren mentioned, with a current 42,168 alexa rank and a growing Google trends for the site, and the huge affiliate marketing potential on the blog, I also think that I made the right desicion for not selling this blog for $65,000 😉

The good news is this:
Again, perfect timing! As I announced yesterday about the new school, I will be revealing details about it throughout this month.
Well, I think that students will be happy that a big part of the school will be about (My number one passion) Blogging, and how to profit online from it. (Hint: The last sentence includes the name of the new school).
Also, I think students will be happy to know that I will include instructions and details on how to use and rank in alexa, how to integrate Google services into your everyday life and of course into your business, and ways to get a good “Organic” Google trends rank for your blog or website.
Also in the school…(Wait! I am not telling everything now, you have to subscripe to the feed by clicking here).

Thank you Darren for the perfectly timed info, and congratulations to Mr. John Wu for the great sale.

Speaking of sales: A house sold for only $1.75

Speaking of teaching every one about sales as part of the new Online school that I announced last night, I would like to share a great sales story with you.
A house sold on eBay for just $1.75!
On Yahoo’s homepage this morning (Photos here) I read that a house in Saginaw Mich. was sold on eBay for this redicoulously cheap price. They said it was abandoned, I say I don’t care, the land only should be worth a lot more.
Joanne Smith was the top bidder and she was bidding on 8 others, when she won this one.
She said she is going to try to sell it. Try! I think she should put it on the market immediately, especially with this huge marketing stunt by Yahoo and the Associated Press.
Yes you can sell houses on eBay as a matter of fact there is a huge Real Estate section on eBay, and a couple of years ago, eBay acquired www.Rent.com for a complete Real Estate portal including rentals.

eBay buying and selling will have a big portion on the Online school that I announced last night, and yes it will still be free for you (the students) so you all know the ins and outs of buying and selling houses, say for $1.75 each 😉

Another huge Real Estate market online is (You knew it) Craig’s List. That’s also included in the completely free but still huge package 😉

My take on the Yahoo homepage featured story is that it might be a marketing stunt by eBay taking advantage of the low economy that we have right now, My opinion: It’s a great marketing stunt and perfect timing for it.

I say congratulations to Joanne and hope she makes good profit from this deal 🙂

Now, I am in a sharing mood, so I will include this out of subject video that I watched this morning as soon as I got up. Vanessa Mae is one of my favorite on my last.fm channel as well.

Enjoy!
